AUTOSAR SW Engineer is responsible for the development of embedded software in C/C++ programming language. In this role, the engineer (along with the development team) is responsible for the implementation and integration of software modules, as well as the configuration of the AUTOSAR system and its integration with hardware. These activities shall begin during the concept phase of a project and extend through the serial development phase, to the end of production. 

As an intermediate level engineer, you will work independently with limited supervision to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using knowledge as well as judgement to make adaptations and modifications. 

As a Senior Engineer, you will independently perform a wide variety of complex/advanced engineering work to include planning, designing, and carrying out work assignments, often serving as a technical authority of the department, with little to no supervision. You will mentor and guide less experienced team members. 

  

Role responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for configuration and integration of the AUTOSAR basic software and MCAL Integration from Software package; 
  • Further development of the software platforms with a focus on AUTOSAR topics; 
  • Is also in contact with and might offer support for activities such as analysis/defining of requirements/architecture/tests. 
  • Coordinates and participates in software design reviews and code reviews 
  • Documents and archives software program releases in accordance with company software development process 
  • Works closely with a team of other highly skilled engineering professionals to solve cross-functional design issues and deliver top quality products to the end user 
  • Provides technical expertise on embedded software to multiple project teams 
  • Assists in the resolution of product based technical issues 

  

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development  
  • 3+ years of project experience with AUTOSAR Classic. 
  • Experience with the AUTOSAR tool chains from Vector and /or with multi-core architecture. 
  • Experience with engineering tools (e.g. Rhapsody, Doors, PTC); 
  • Experience with CAN / UDS protocols. 
  • Knowledge of automotive software development processes; 
  • Good level of both spoken and written English. 
  • Teamwork, assertiveness, high level of commitment.  

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with safety/cyber security concepts in embedded systems. 
  • Experience with Automotive Transmission technologies. 
  • Experience with Driveline & Electrification technologies.
