Senior Business Analyst (PO background)

This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension. 

Role Description:

Together with Unravel (the company operating within the Spyrosoft Group) we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a deep understanding of business processes and extensive knowledge of software development. We are looking for a candidate who can also act as a Product Owner, engaging in creating product strategies and managing requirements from conception to deployment, with a focus on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and understanding business needs and translating them into functional and non-functional requirements, using analytical analysis techniques.
• Creating diagrams, visualizations, and other tools to support product and business process analysis.
• Managing the full product lifecycle, from gathering requirements to delivering the product to the customer.
• Participating in stakeholder meetings to understand their needs and expectations.
• Creating and managing the product backlog and prioritizing tasks based on business value.
• Collaborating with the development team and ensuring a clear understanding of product requirements.
• Preparing product requirement documentation, including epics, user stories, and flow diagrams.
• Ensuring continuous communication and collaboration between the development team, project team, business stakeholders, and clients.
• Monitoring product performance, analyzing data, and identifying areas for optimization.
• Performing acceptance testing to ensure the product meets customer expectations.
• Working closely with the QA department to ensure product quality.
• Monitoring and reporting project progress and identifying potential risks and issues.

Requirements:

• Professional experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Product Owner in a software development environment (7 years minimum)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure technology and the ability to work in the cloud
• Practical knowledge of modelling techniques (UML, BPMN or similar)
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written (C1).
