Job description

  • Understand SW package & tools scope of product(s), project(s) and function(s)
  • Analysis and review of annotation tooling requirements. negotiate/propose changes if necessary, confirm implementation feasibility of the requirements
  • Define SW-tool architecture and workflows
  • Write pseudo code (on-demand)
  • Perform code review with buddy
  • Implementation of SW package in python, pyspark, C++ (cloud compatible solution) to parse and decode different reference sensorics LiDAR, RADAR, dGPS and Camera data (from MF4 / DAT files to ORC, Parquet and MP4/GPEG format)
  • Very good hands-on experience on AWS – SysOps/DevOps, GIT, CI/CD, docker and Jira
  • Proven working experience on bigdata analysis scripting and related scalable SW package development
  • Planning and coordinates with annotation lead(s) and supporting labelling team, core test developers and function developers for daily doing
  • Able to manage and coordinate with team of 1-2 test developer
  • Based on function complexity able to support multiple projects and/or functions

 

  • Master’s / diploma degree in computer science, physics, mechatronics, automotive, statistics, mathematics or equivalent
  • 4 years of Working knowledge in ADAS series project(s) and basic understanding of functional and test design engineering in ADAS (functional test design of object detection, Point cloud Plus, Free Space Detection, AEB, ACC, LDW, TSR, lane/road description etc.)
  • Professional working experience (>3 years of experience) as SW tool developer in this field
  • Knowledge in statistical analysis, big data analysis, AI, machine learning, deep learning, and data mining is a very good plus
  • Very good hands-on experience on AWS – SysOps/DevOps, GIT, CI/CD, docker and Jira
  • AWS certification is a plus
  • ISTQB CTFL certificate is a plus
  • Basic understanding of ISO26262
  • Understanding of reprocessing concepts, ADAS safety concepts and relation with functional performance requirements is a big plus
  • Professional experience in Linux, Python, Scala, Pyspark, C++
  • Advance skills in ROS, BigData analysis libraries, tools and methods
  • Working knowledge of UML, VISIO, MS Office package
  • Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet, VIGEM, DBC, SPI(TAPI), CAN and LIN based SW/HW tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, neoVI and other automotive networks and related tools as plus
  • Proficiency in English is must (speaking & writing)
  • German language is a plus
  • Working knowledge of PTC
  • Working knowledge in planned and structured approach
  • Working knowledge of problem-solving techniques
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced team environment
  • Able to work independently with supervision
  • Able to work effectively in a global environment
  • Able to represent technical topics internally and externally
  • Travel (domestic) may require

Project description

Feature Owner for ADAS Tools is responsible for SW package development to read, parse, decode, transform vehicle sensor / bus data into big data formats such as parquet, orc., developing additional SW visualization tools to analyse, simulate and graphically present data and on-demand data repair activities. The candidate also Dockerize the SW-tools and setup CI / CD pipelines in predefine cloud services. The tool – engineer frequently coordinates with annotation lead and testing team for daily doing.
