Main responsibilities:

  • Development of test specifications according to function, software and system requirements for eMobility projects;
  •  Synchronization of testing approach, content and feasibility with stakeholders from software, hardware and system development;
  • Requirements analysis;
  • Software-in-the-loop (SiL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) Test execution, result analysis and documentation;
  • Implementation of test automation solutions;
  • Interfacing with problem resolution, change and configuration management;
  • Reporting and presentation of test results;

Position requirements:

  • Certified ISTQB Foundation Level Tester or similar, alternatively Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or natural sciences;
  • Practical professional experience in test or development of Automotive Embedded software;
  • Practical experience in test case definition;
  • Preferably knowledge in C and Python, Mathworks Matlab/Simulink as well as; Automotive development and measurement tools by dSpace, vector, ETAS and Mathworks;
  • Knowledge of Automotive communication protocols, control unit architectures and periphery;
  • Knowledge of Automotive Standards ISO26262, AutomotiveSPICE and ISO29119;
  • Ideally system knowledge about electrical machines, power electronics and related mechanical components;
  • High software quality awareness;
  • Good command of English language written and spoken, German ideal but not necessary;
  • Structured and systematic work ethic;
  • Good analytical and conceptional skills;
  • Self-sufficient and responsible;
  • Good team player;
