About the Role:
We are seeking for an experienced Project Management Officer to support our project managers and project delivery teams in IT projects in a Managed Services / ITSM environment.
You will be responsible for providing supporting activities during the project execution. This includes activities as – set-up of the project collaboration tools (MS Teams/SharePoint, MS project mail distribution lists), support for project management-related processes: staffing mobilization, project status reporting, financial controlling, procurement, time-sheeting, tracking of LOP, quality management for the project documentation, on-/offboarding, organization of meetings and travels.
As Project Management Officer, you are working in one or several project teams in a matrix organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international context. Your expertise will help drive the stability and profitability of our customer accounts.
Main responsibilities
- Support for the initial set-up of the project governance in alignment with the responsible project manager during the initialization phase
- Support for Controlling & Monitoring activities during the project execution, including tracking of List of Open Points (LOP), Risk logs, and Change logs
- Support for the regular project status reporting, financial controlling, time-sheeting, procurement tracking
- Administrative support for project team members including on-/offboarding, organization of meetings and travels, creation of protocols and meeting minutes
- Quality management for the project documentation in line with our Manage Now Project Management Framework and related Templates
Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a PMO in IT-projects
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as PMO in managed services projects (e.g. managed network, hybrid infrastructure, managed workplace, SAP basis)
- Valid entry-level Project Management Certification, e.g. CAPM, Prince2 Foundation (or higher)
- Expert level in using the M365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams / SharePoint)
- Very good know-how using MS project and SAP as end-user
- Very good understanding of project financial controlling and reporting activities
- High quality standard for own work, very good communication skills, and autonomous way of working
- Advanced German and English skills
