Role overview

We are looking for 2 Senior Developers to join our essential project will ensure continuity, enhanced functionality, and compliance as we transition to a new Customer Data Platform (CDP) that supports marketing and engagement goals.

This tried-and-tested staffing model ensures seamless knowledge transfer, operational stability, and the ability to quickly adapt to project demands. This expedited process is crucial for meeting the project’s timelines and maintaining momentum, ensuring the marketing teams continue to engage audiences effectively while preparing for the future with a robust CDP solution.

 

Essential Key Skills and Responsibilities 

Essential Skills
• Expertise in Cloud architecture and key technologies (S3, EC2, SQS, Lambda, IAM, MSK, Kubernetes, Managed Airflow, Athena, Kinesis etc).
• AWS Networking VPC, Transit Gateway, and securing network configuration.
• Experience with databases (Database: Redshift DynamoDB).
• Test Driven Development and testing practices.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (CDK Cloudformation).


Desired Skills
• Expertise in at least one of the programming languages such as Java, Python (test frameworks, cypress, code-as infra AWS.
• Developing software with scale, security and reliability in mind.
• Knowledge of software development principles, design patterns and best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies Docker and Kubernetes.
• Observability, Pair Programming, TDD.

Experience 

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or similar work-based experience. 
  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer ideally with a focus on media-related projects. 
  • Very good working knowledge of standard software development frameworks, techniques, and methodologies. 
  • Experience with providing coaching and mentoring.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, contributing to the development of business scenarios. 
  • Knowledge of software development tools and technologies. 
  • You are flexible and curious in your approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Additional information

Fixed-term contract until the end of March 2025 with the possibility of extension.
