We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Recruitment Specialist to join Spyrosoft’s global recruitment team in the UK. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and interviewing candidates for a diverse range of IT roles within our partner organization, a leading player in the media and broadcasting industry. Your focus will be on strategic hires for key IT positions, including Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers, Backend/Frontend Developers, Mobile Developers, and AI/ML Engineers, among others.

As part of the global recruitment team, you will work closely with Spyrosoft’s UK-based Line Managers, Team Extension Experts, and global recruiters to meet hiring goals and drive the recruitment process forward. You will be instrumental in understanding the specific needs of the media and broadcasting industry while ensuring that the candidates you select are aligned with both technical requirements and cultural fit.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

Essential Skills:

  • Up to date knowledge of employment law, including discrimination and gender equality laws, employment types and work eligibility criteria.
  • Proven experience as a recruitment specialist or talent acquisition professional with a focus on IT roles (ideally in software development, QA, AI/ML, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of IT roles and technologies, with the ability to assess both technical and cultural fit.
  • Previous experience working with global teams and recruiting for large-scale, strategic hires.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across various teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Talent Acquisition:

Proactively identify and attract top IT talent for a variety of roles, using a wide range of sourcing channels (job boards, social media, professional networks, etc.). You will build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for strategic IT positions in collaboration with local and global recruitment teams.

  • Selection & Interviewing:

Conduct thorough screening of candidates to assess their technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit. Coordinate interview processes including technical assessments and line management interviews to ensure the best match for the role and our partner’s needs.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with Spyrosoft’s Line Managers, Team Extension Experts, and global recruitment colleagues to ensure alignment on hiring needs, candidate profiles, and expectations. Maintain strong communication throughout the recruitment process to keep all parties informed and engaged.

  • Market Research & Industry Insights:

Stay informed about the latest trends in the IT and media sectors, including emerging technologies, skill shortages, and industry developments. Use this knowledge to guide sourcing strategies and candidate engagement efforts.

  • Diversity & Inclusion:

Foster a diverse and inclusive recruitment approach, ensuring that all candidates are evaluated fairly and that diverse talent is prioritized where possible.
