About the Position

PPG’s Digital Organization is seeking a User Experience Researcher to be a key member of the User Experience Center of Research Excellence Team. You will be part of a dynamic group of individuals with diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities:

As a Senior UX Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in conducting end-to-end research activities across our web, mobile, and internal software platforms. Collaborating with UX research, UX design, product, and analytic teams, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning, recruiting, executing, documenting, reporting, and presenting research with users globally, utilizing a range of quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Conducting exploratory and evaluative research on customer-facing digital products and internal tools.
  • Organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data to create actionable research-based insights supporting tactical and strategic decision-making.
  • Bridging knowledge gaps between UX and analytics, working proactively to create strategic objectives for measuring the performance of our digital experiences.
  • Driving engagement and maintaining the research repository tool (Dovetail).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful research deliverables that inform product roadmaps.

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of industry research experience (UX research, design thinking, customer insights, analytics, etc.).
  • Self-starter with a keen attention to detail, adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Thoughtful, inclusive, and collaborative team player.
  • Strong data organization, synthesis, and analysis skills, with experience in tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar.
  • Proficient in managing all stages of UX research studies, from planning to presenting insights.
  • Passion for research, user-focused processes, and human-centered design.
  • Experience improving processes and operations, including evaluating and tracking success metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fostering successful relationships.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Fluency in French, Dutch, German, Spanish, or Polish.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment using the Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe).
  • Previous involvement in launching and maintaining a research repository tool, driving adoption and awareness.
