Technical SW Project Manager (RO)

The Technical SW Project Manager is responsible to coordinate a team of software developers in order to deliver a successful implementation of customer requirements. He or she will do so by ensuring high product quality and project coordination provided through customer contact and strong technical involvement in the development process.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical leadership in directing the efforts of the team in the development and production release of all relevant software deliverables in compliance with the product development process and customer expectations;
  • Responsible for planning, monitoring and reporting of all software related development activities in a project;
  • Acts as technical lead and will also perform regular engineering tasks;
  • Ensures all necessary engineering documentation and data is generated and maintained to ensure traceability and compliance to company procedures;
  • Support colleagues from his area of responsibility with technical aspects;
  • Ensures software development in compliance with a formal ASPICE/CMMi based Product Engineering Process (GPEP).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred);
  • 5+ years of professional experience in SW development;
  • 3+ years of professional experience in project management;
  • Experience in AUTOSAR-based projects;
  • Knowledge of product development engineering practices in automotive field;
  • Knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++ for 16 bit and 32 bit micro-controllers including application and low level drivers for multiple micro-controllers;
  • Experience with problem solving methods and/or techniques is appreciated;
  • Proficiently spoken and written English.
