  • Location – Manchester/Salford (Hybrid with flexible office visits)

We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join our fast and rapidly expanding team working on cutting-edge technology.

As a Team Leader, you will be passionate about managing individuals, performing appraisals, probation meetings, and being involved with all stages of the onboarding process ensuring that this is completed in a comprehensive and efficient manner.

Essential Key Skills and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Lead Delivery Manager and other senior management to espouse the company values and support specialists in their roles.
  • Supervise/Monitor specialist’s performance and set performance objectives, conducting regular performance evaluations, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and seek opportunities to apply them to the team’s work.
  • Promote and develop a culture of continual improvement where engineering teams are continually striving to be the best.
  • Foster a generative culture of high cooperation where learning is the heart of everything we do.
  • Focus on people.
  • Several years previous experience of person management.
  • Ability to manage teams of at least 10+ specialists.
  • Strong communication skills & organisational skills.
  • Experience in Recruitment processes.
  • Good knowledge of software development methodologies.
  • Independence, resourcefulness and reliability.
  • Ability to make decisions, resolve conflicts and cooperate with others.
  • Company representative in front of clients.


  • Previous experience as an IT technical professional

  • Able to demonstrate leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of software professionals.

  • People management, and improvement skills are a must.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack of identifying issues, looking at root causes and seeking effective solutions.
  • You appreciate the importance of keeping a positive team and culture.
  • Confident with introducing new ideas and motivating a diverse team.
  • An understanding of technology and IT solutions is beneficial for effectively being able to lead and to support software professionals.
  • Awareness of security requirements for handling sensitive information.
