Job description

• Lead the design and implementation of a custom web application
• Review the current codebase and propose architectural recommendations/approaches to ensure greater reliability, scalability, and maintainability of the front-end application
• Lead the front-end development of features that could include tiered access to a web-product offering and integration with a payment/subscription management system
• Integrate various APIs and ensure seamless data flow between different systems
• Communicate clear ideas and concepts in English with product and technical management and other engineering team members
• Develop and maintain the front-end application using React and TypeScript
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization


• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with full stack development, but with a solid focus on developing user, front-end, and integrating with various SDKs and applications
• Experience in UI and FE design, programming, debugging, and production management
• Experience creating Node.js/React/Typescript production quality applications independently or in a startup environment
• Experience developing front-end applications that have authentication and profile functionality

Project description

We are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer with excellent communication skills, who will lead front-end architecture, development, and deployment of the critical web application with which all customers will interact.

Katara AI, Inc. is a seed stage, VC backed, SaaS platform building a comprehensive workflow automation hub for managing community and content powered by AI. Our investors include Diagram Ventures, Sparkle Ventures, StreamingFast, Merkle Research and several angels.

Project’s goal is to build a unification platform that extracts data from several sources, including community platforms (such as Discord, Slack, Twitter, etc.) and existing published “corpus” (websites, technical docs, markdown files, blogs) to link community and content together, providing advanced analytics on both for a variety of audiences: from DevRel to Operations, Marketing, Content Writers, etc. (both technical and non-technical roles).
