Job description

IT engineer is responsible for on-site support for IT related issues happening in the particular office location. This role is intended for faster and better reaction on encountered IT problems, especially if on-site support is a must. IT engineer reports to Regional IT Manager.

  • Working with documentation
  • Troubleshooting
  • Setting up and supporting Linux systems
  • Setting up and supporting Windows systems (incl. Windows server)
  • Create scripts for various workflows and analyzes
  • Monitoring the systems
  • 1st, 2nd level support for engineering systems
  • Knows and works according to company’s IT security guidelines
  • IT equipment and engineering tools management

Our requirements

  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • Microsoft Office incl. O365 applications
  • Enhanced Linux skills
  • Enhanced Windows skills
  • Network infrastructure and configuration
  • VMware
  • Backup systems
  • AD administration
  • Scripting like PowerShell, Ansible
  • Very good English skills required, German knowledge will be an asset
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
