Job description

The Process, Methods and Tools (PMT) Owner is responsible for the development, implementation, continuous improvement and support of state-of-the-art engineering processes methods and tools in his area of responsibility (from ASPICE Engineering Processes). Focus is at the intersection of Engineering, Quality, and IT to facilitate engineering processes efficiently by adequate methods and tools. Background in (SW) Quality Engineering or as a leader in one of V-model areas is beneficial to fulfill PMT role.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve efficient and effective engineering processes, methods and tools to reach product development efficiency within a process compliant environment
  • Achieve standardization of processes, methods and tools throughout the entire company across all our product lines and global locations
  • Identify PMT related improvement opportunities and drive realization
  • Consult, train and support Engineers to properly understand and leverage engineering processes, methods and tools
  • Review and address extraordinary project challenges

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
  • 3-5 years’ relevant working experience in this area
  • Knowledge/Experience in Automotive System Engineering processes, methods, and tools
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, …)
  • Knowledge of process, method and tool definition, documentation, and training
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English (speak & write) – German is a plus
